Discordianism is a post-modern religion or philosophy (mostly both), dedicated to belief in the primacy of Chaos and the worship or reverence of Eris, the Greek Goddess of Discord, Confusion, and Strife. If you’re not in the know, consult the following sources:

The (Facebook) Discordian Society has been created to serve as an electronic gathering place for fellow Discordian Popes (and Momes), no matter hir allegiance, POEE, Episkopos, or Legionnaire. All are welcome to partake in the High Madness, Chaosophical ramblings, and a hotdog on a Friday (not included). The only goals of the society are as follows:
1. To spread the word of the Goddess
2. To steadfastly battle the Curse of Greyface
3. To achieve greater understanding through confusion (and other means)
4. To have a hell of a good time doing it
5. There was one other goal, but I forgot it.
Just have fun talking about anything: the mysteries of Eris, the Law of Fives, the evils of the Illuminati, Erisian catma, OM, general nonsense, and maybe even something serious or rational from time to time. Hail Eris, All Hail Discordia!
